We'll deal with how to work from sample swatches to finished garments.
Learn how to adjust a commercial pattern or to draft your own designs.
Learn how to reproduce the yarns used for traditional Norwegian, Shetland, or Aran yarns.
Finishing methods, such as boiled wool, napped, or brushed surfaces will also be covered.
No. of Participants: 15 students.
Suitable for both people with a basic understanding of spinning and knitting.
Equipment: Students should bring their spinning wheel with all its parts, plus a ball winder and niddy-noddy, a variety of knitting needles and measuring tape.
Supplies: $10.00 fiber fee for the dye sample yarns.
