Exotic Fibers

Cashmere from Tashkent, alpaca from Peru, silks from China, modern spinners have the world at their finger tips! This class is to help you find your way through this amazing selection. It will cover how to buy, prepare, spin, and design fabrics that use these fibers to their best advantage. The class will look at a wide variety of fibers, including silks, cottons, cashmeres, quiviut, camel, and ramie.
